G. Boren Services has Opportunities for Qualified Individuals to Work Various Part-Time Positions as Election Voter Clerk. Ideal Job for Retirees and Individuals Who have Good Clerical Skills. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older; A registered voter of Lubbock County; Must attend Lubbock County Election Training classes (paid); Must have reliable transportation with current Texas Liability insurance and a valid drivers license; Assist with the management of the elections; Assist in the assembly and breakdown of voting place; Greet, verify voters eligibility and assign correct ballot style; Assist voter if necessary, including curbside voting; Complete detail paperwork daily; Frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds; Push or pull election carts; Be detail oriented; Have basic knowledge of typing and computer skills; Knowledge of Election Laws; Have customer service skills; Ability to follow verbal instructions; Work independently in the absence of specific instructions; Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other coworkers; May be required to assist with technical aspects of the voting units; Pass background check; Drug screening will take place; Good communicator both verbal and written; Ability to speak fluently in Spanish is a plus; Must be able to work during election hours on election days; Must be dependable / reliable; It is desired to have workers from the various cities of where voting takes place in Lubbock County.
Dependent Upon Experience Lubbock, TX Fee Paid
Pay is various and based on responsibilities. Range is $9.00 per hour to $15.00 per hour.
